Twin Flames and Ascension
While many people have heard and are familiar with the term “Twin Flame”, there are many who do not quite fully understand the meaning. As the Mayan calendar comes to a close in 2012, it is believed by many that humanity is entering a very exciting time. It is allegedly thought as the “coming of the ages” and the end of the world, as we know it. It will be the beginning of a whole new era! As this event approaches, it will be celebrated throughout the cosmos, and many beings from other places are now visiting our planet, waiting for this special event to take place. It is believed that the consciousness of the planet is being raised and the planet herself will be ascending. This can only take affect after many people achieve ascension, which can only take place once we have reunited with our “Twin Flames”.
As many are aware, we are Spirit having a human experience, and we are created in God’s own image, which is both male and female. Spirit is sometimes referred to as the “flame of God”. From this flame, a “spark of the divine” is borne into many, which we may refer to as “God Heads” or “Monads” made up of groups consisting of twelve flames. One of these groups is our personal “Monad” or “Soul Family”, and one of the twelve flames that make up our Soul Family is known as our “Higher Self” – which is both masculine and feminine.
Before each of us is borne into the physical realm, our “Higher Self” is divided into two becoming “Twin Flames” - each of us sharing half of the same pattern that is unique to ourselves and our “other half”, yet still carries the divine blueprint of the “Flame of God”. This is our “Twin Flame” – our “Divine Counterpart”, sometimes referred to as our “Beloved”.
This is the reason why each of us seek to find that “perfect partner” throughout our lives, because we wish to experience “wholeness”. One twin expresses itself as feminine, and the other masculine, but each twin still carries the divine blueprint, which is both male and female. We are eternally connected to our “Twin” by a silver cord, which will never be broken, and we are eternally connected to our “Higher Self”. The ancient Judaic phrase says it all “I Am my Beloveds’ and my Beloved is mine.”
Prior to descending onto this earth, each of us made a promise, a “contract” so to speak, which became our “Divine Mission” in life. This was a promise to be an “Expression of God” in physical form, through creativity and service. This all became part of our “Divine Mission” and once completed, it is our destiny to return to the heavens to reunite with God.
At times our “Divine Counterpart” chooses not to incarnate – to complete their “mission” from the other side. Or it may have already completed its earthly experience, and is now an “Ascended Master”. Therefore, our paths may cross in some incarnations, but not necessarily in all of our lifetimes, depending upon what we choose to learn. If we, had stayed as harmonious beings, following the “cosmic laws of the universe” we would have experienced the love and intimacy of our “Beloved” throughout all of our lifetimes on earth. But we “fell from grace”, which resulted in separation and loss of our “connection” to our “Higher Selves” and “Twin Flames”. We were “kicked out of the Garden” so to speak. As a result, most of us have lived through many incarnations without reuniting with our other half. But, we have now reached a time in evolution, in which we no longer need to find happiness through another person, as we can reunite with our “Divine Counterpart” restoring harmony and balance within ourselves. But, before this can happen, before we can reconnect with our “Twin” we must first become “whole” within ourselves. This is created through harmonious balancing of our masculine and feminine energies.
When people first hear about their “Twin Flame” they immediately feel the need to find that being, instead of balancing their own energies within. One can only discover their “Twin Flame” after they have merged the masculine and feminine parts of their selves. As stated before, your “Twin” may have already completed his or her spiritual path and be reunited with your Higher Self, waiting for you. Or, they may still be having an earthly experience, and not yet merged their masculine and feminine energies, with lessons still to learn. But wherever your “Twin Flame” is, and whatever their state of consciousness is, it can greatly influence your own ability to find wholeness – and you can influence theirs.
Harmonizing and balancing your masculine and feminine parts through the practice of sacred geometry, meditation, prayers, and mantras is the path to “Oneness”. We can also accelerate the process by asking our “Higher Self” to do so, releasing us from all negative karma, if it is in our best and highest good. When we balance our energies well enough to ascend, we will be able to “hold more light” within our etheric body, and reconnect with our “Twin Flame”. One will experience ecstasy and a feeling of bliss, as we find ourselves in the purest state of love. This is not the same type of love that we experience on the physical level, but something that is very “sacred”. It is through this divine process that we reconnect with our Higher Self and our “Soul Family”.
As we get closer to December of 2012, the end of the Mayan Calendar, we will return to a state of “Oneness” as more and more of us balance our energies, and reunite with our “Twin Flames” and “Soul Families” or “Monads”. The other eleven parts of our family are our “Soul Mates”. Each member of the “Soul Family” are so similar to ourselves, that sometimes we feel that this person may be our “Twin Flame” – but they are not, they are Sisters or Brothers of our “Soul Family”. The beings that belong to other “Monads” are also soul mates, but on a secondary level. As well, every “Soul Family” has its very own “Twin” which expresses itself as a particular Divine Archetype. For instance, at times there are several people who may have had past life memories that would lead them to believe they may have been a specific person, like “Cleopatra”. The reason they would be having these “memories” is because they belong to the same “Soul Family” as that particular entity. As well, a person may feel very strongly towards a particular divine being, such as “Brahma” - which means this may be the “Divine Archetype” for their Soul Family.
At times, when our “Twin Flame” has chosen not to incarnate, we may marry another being from our “Soul Family” or they may incarnate as our mother or father, one of our children, a close relative or even a life long friend. But this person will also have their very own “Twin Flame” as each of us do. Our lives are intertwined with members of our “Soul Family” to work out certain lessons in life, as we are here to assist one other to work through karmic lessons. For instance, if one person needs to learn the lesson of “compassion” then someone from their “Soul Family” may choose to incarnate as a child that suffers from an illness throughout their life. When the “lesson” is completed, the child may choose to leave, as they have fulfilled their duty, and the one who has now experienced “compassion” may also choose to depart this life, as they have completed their earthly lesson.
One of the most difficult lessons, is the one of marriage. While each of us wishes and hopes that this is our “Twin Flame” – (even if one is not aware of this spiritual partner) - marriage is the union of a male and female that represents the bringing together of the two parts of ourselves, our “Twin Flames”.
ff we are to experience ascension, or a “higher consciousness” in this lifetime, then we must unify our masculine and feminine selves.
By harmonizing these energies, we become “whole” and experience what is known as the “mystical marriage” birthing our own “sun/son” the Christos or Horus. This is our connection to “love” consciousness, and the key to ascension. The goal of this consciousness is to understand “unconditional love, forgiveness, and transmutation”. When we “become one” with our “Twin Flame” and join together with our “Higher Self” we experience feelings of pure love, joy and bliss. Harmonizing our masculine and physical selves is not only the key to personal ascension, but part of each and every human’s mission. The more work we do to balance our own energies, the more of an affect we will have on attracting our “Twin Flame” to ourselves. This is done through specific types of meditation, which includes sacred geometry, prayers and mantras. Once we become one with our “Twin Flame” and join together with our “Higher Self” – we will raise our level of consciousness, and be more aware of who we are, and why we are here. Once the connection is made, a great “Being of Light and Love” in its purest form is created, (The Christos) and everywhere you go, that energy will be with you, and influence others, assisting them to reunite with their “Twin Flame”. As well, your new “Energy” will have a connection to “the Earth” assisting her in her ascension. This is part of the “Great Work” and the reason, why many of us chose to be borne during these times.
